For international gold medal photographer, Thai Dac Nha, photography was a major part of his life since childhood. His love and passion for photography earned him his first award when he was just 16 years old. He loved to capture the beauty around him through the lens of a camera, from the minute details of an orchid to timeless emotions of newly wed couples.

He lived to express and share his creative vision with others. Photography was his life.

Previously, he owned a professional photography studio and lab with his wife, Thanh Hang, and was also VP and co-founder of the APA (Artistic Photography Association).

He passed away on January 3rd, 2023 in Southern California. He is survived by: his wife Thanh Hang, his two sons Vincent and Jeremy, and his granddaughter Olivia.

His genuine kindness left a lifelong impression in the hearts of everyone who knew him. He taught us more than we can ever say about life, love, people, understanding and kindness. While he now resides in heaven, he will continue to live on forever in our hearts and minds, until we meet again.

Dad, we are glad that you knew how much you were loved before your passing, and we are blessed to have been loved by you. We miss you and we are thankful for everything you have done for us, please rest assured that we will live a life in your honor that you would be proud of.
